AT SUBC, THE THEME OF KIDS' MINISTRY IS "YOUR LIFE MATTERS."
Jesus made it clear that He valued children and even went as far as to tell his disciples no one can enter His kingdom without becoming like a little child. We seek to provide safe, impactful discipleship opportunities for kids at each different stage of development to ensure they know Jesus loves them, wants to have a relationship with them, and has a wonderful plan for their life.
kids' church - sundays during worship
- Nursery: newborn to 2 years old (available from 10 am)
- Preschool: 3-4 years (available during message)
- Elementary: 5-11 years (available during message)

Prior to worship our children's staff person will check your child in just outside the sanctuary door. We ask that you do this prior to worship to ensure all children are checked in prior to their release from the sanctuary. A volunteer will be present 15 minutes prior to the service.
We will need:
• Child's name
• Responsible adult's name(s)
• Allergy information
You will be given a sticker with a number and your child will have a matching sticker with same number. If there is any need for your child during the service, an usher will notify you. Please pick up your child from Kid Zone immediately following the dismissal of the service. No one may pick up your child without the matching sticker.
Note: all of our nursery and children's workers have been professionally background checked.

9:45 - Check-in /Fellowship - Check-in by the sanctuary. Then parents can grab a bulletin and a coffee, and the whole family, make your way into the sanctuary. (Note: nursery is open during this time until end of service)
10:00-10:20 Worship through songs/offerings - kids are with us during this time.
10:20-11:15 Preschoolers and Elementary age children are released to go to the Kid Zone, and split up into classes for their lessons. Parents remain in sanctuary, and worship through the Word.
11:15 pre-school play time until parents or guardians arrive, elementary finish lesson until parent arrives.

We currently use the "Dig In" curriculum. "Dig In" is a digital Sunday School and Children's Church curriculum designed by Group Publishing, where kids explore the Bible through various themes and programs, allowing them to build a strong foundation of faith by learning key Bible stories and concepts

Your child's safety is of great concern to us. All volunteers have been subject to a background check.
Security team members do safety checks every 15 minutes during the services on the children's area and building entrances. |
