in august of 2023 we sent a team to puerto viejo, a mountain community of costa rica, to build a home in three days. this is that story.

In January of 2023, one couple from our church felt called to join a short-term mission trip to costa rica with another local church. They were forever changed, and came back with a fire and passion that has spread through our entire congregation.

In August of 2023, a group of 25 people traveled to the same area, called Puerto Viejo, to build a home for a family in need, give Bibles to residents of the local area, build relationships, and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with this unreached people group.
